Owned by the Capponi Counts since 23 May 1524, Villa Calcinaia is the heart of the family. From around 30 hectares of specialized vineyard, the Capponi Family produces wines known and appreciated internationally since the beginning of the 20th century. From generation to generation, family members give new life to fields, woods, vineyards and cellars, as every spring brings new life to the land. A continuous renewal that follows the path of sustainability, through the choice of organic agriculture and alternative energies such as geothermal.
